After 8 years of active duty service in the United States Navy, I joined the VA in 2012 where I served until 2022. It was after 10 years of adjudicating claims for VA disability compensation benefits, as well as providing training and mentoring, I harvested an extensive knowledge of the program. While I have worked all claim types, I have a distinct expertise in complex issues to include Military Sexual Trauma, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Former Prisoners of War, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
I've made it my mission to educate transitioning service members and military Veterans so they can regain their sense of agency and take ownership of their claim.
